I was at Jillys for a private event. My group spent a lot of money on food and drinks and I think they were overwhelmed. We had a signature drink that was delicious not I did not like the wings. I would like to go back on a regular night to try them again because I loved the venue. It is quaint and cozy.

A great venue for entertainment with mostly local bands and some comedians. The food was great, the wait staff was excellent and the bar was hopping. We went with some friends and got so into the band we were out there dancing with every song. What a fun night.

Amazing venue, great staff, and wonderful food! This is a wonderful place for local music. The entire menu is gluten free and the signature cocktails are delicious! The menus are creative and have something for everyone. Highly recommend for dinner or brunch!

I absolutely love and enjoy the unique blend of entertainment at this awesome bar provides. More places should be doing this, with a fun and clean comedy with a mix of just enough bad that everyone can enjoy. Its also priced perfect for a casual night out.

I cant tell you how grateful I was to find an all gluten free establishment. My wheat allergy is a huge inconvenience, but here I can relax and know that I will be dining on some absolutely excellent food that wont trigger my allergy. I never thought I would have onion rings or fried pickles again! The place is beautiful, classy, and the staff is fantastic. Give them your business! You wont be sorry!

Great place to see Numbers band. We were coming from out of town and the manager(owner?) Saved us a great table with our name on it. Food and drink were great too, easy, well lit parking was a plus!

Good luck finding a better night out in the Akron area. A real cocktail bar. Real live music EVERY NIGHT they are open. A real chef. Real knowledgeable and bubbly staff. Top to bottom, 100% gluten free food and drink menu? (I don’t even know how that is possible in this area but you can’t claim that and not produce in today’s gov health inspection environment so I believe it.) And surprisingly fair prices.This type of place can really only be found in a major metropolitan area. But with prices 3-5 times higher than Jillies music room. And if you plan your nights out right, you will see a musician and/or band that will be on the billboard charts at a later date. Mark my words. Get here before it becomes a hassle to get a seat. Some nights it already is.

I always enjoy coming here, the staff are friendly and the bands are enjoyable. I really like that you can sit and watch the band or sit father back and actually have a conversation without having to shout in each others ears. My only complaint would be that the parking really sucks, which they really cant do anything about, so suck it up and visit anyway.

Ok place to see live music on the cheap. Bands are often local talent, some very good. I miss the old Northside vibe except for the mens room. Jillys has nice up scale bathrooms but layout is odd.

They were really busy but still kept our glasses full. And the food was really good too!! Thank you!!

Great food while we listened to great music. And the best part - NO COVER!! Im going to keep an eye out for other musicians that I could go and hear.

The atmosphere was nice, and the bartender was kind despite the fact that the show I had gone to see was cancelled. Ill post a more in depth review when I go back again.

Went for brunch on a Saturday. ALL gf! Delightful find for us, especially the family members who cant tolerate gluten! Will be back for that. And to check out the music.

The place is nice, the food is good and the music feels nice (even though not particularly my style, they go for a jazz *kind of* thing). I didnt think it was espetacular, though. It might be because I dont care much for that music, though. If youre a fan, youll probably love it.

I am a Financial Advisor at a Crises center and today I lost my co-partner. Our job is going in so many directions to help the homeless, local community, Drug Abuse, Mental health awareness, You name it!! This was a very stylish, relaxing bar with a great wine selection! Their food is top quality for their low prices! The music is smooth and a perfect dating hot spot! Their customer service is amazing with open and kind friendly environment. My husband has a gluten allergy on top of being kind of picky and a coworker recommended this place to us. Everything was amazing! They were a little short staffed but as soon as our waiter Daniel seated us, he made us aware of what the wait for the food would be (and he was spot on!). I can’t say I’ve ever had a waiter be courteous enough to give us the advance notice compared to telling us well after we’ve been waiting. Once we got the food, the time we waited didn’t even matter. My husband loved the pulled pork sliders, my wings were perfect, and the mozzarella sticks tasted better than the ones he loved before the allergy diagnosis! I can definitely say we will be making a point to come back. Thanks Jilly’s for being the place I’ve spent months searching for!

Cool place. Friendly staff. Very clean. Food was a little expensive with small portions. The trivia night was fun.

I have mixed feelings about leaving 2 stars because one of the bartenders tried to fix my drink, but at the end of the day, it just wasnt good. We ended up just leaving our slightly sipped drinks on a table and going as they werent good enough to finish. Not fun considering we paid $10 each for them. So stay clear of ordering from their cocktail menu and go with a simple drink instead. Also, the sign out front said no cover charge, but we had to pay one anyway. It was only $1 so not a big deal, but it seems easy enough to just bring that sign inside instead of advertising something wrong. Cant say much about the band because we only heard half a song as set was ending.

The chef and crew are the best.. Food is delicious.. Bands are eclectic n fun

Recently went here, had the great Brave & Crazy band playing. Went for Brunch and the food was incredible. Would recommend.

One of our favorite places as a couple due to staff and menu. We have many happy memories here. Both of us having to be on a gluten-free diet makes this place even more special, but when I bring my friends they don’t even know they are eating gluten-free stuff so that is another bonus. Generous pours from the bartender.

Gluten free? Jillys got you. Her entire menu is gluten-free AND full of flavors. A tapas style restaurant, this is Akrons best spot for after work gatherings. Great selection of craft & local beer, and lots of happy hour options that are actually nice to drink!Make sure you give the popcorn a try and if you like it hot, you are in luck because she has Not Yo Daddys Mexican Hot Sauce on hand.Lots of quality live music events here too!

Jillyis a particularly nice venue in a revitalized area. I went to hear a favorite band and it was plain to see that there is a listening area and a party area, with a corner that looked to be quiet if you wanted some actual conversation. The listening area filled up quickly and the place was packed and rockin when we oldsters left before midnight. Bar food and service was good - high five to bar servers negotiating crowds like that with a perpetual smile. I recommend Jillys.

Great place to meet friends and hear live music. I have tried a few appetizers and found the food creative but not necessarily tasty. Despite this it remains a great spot.

Very nice jazz club with many fine groups. I heard the Tim Coyne quintet and was very enjoyable.

Its a great place for food drinks and music. We had street tacos, fried mushrooms and wedge of of lettuce. Would recommend all. The George Martins were playing. A fantastic Beatles cover band, btw.

Great location for a fun party. When we arrived to be seated for a performance, the stage area was being occupied by a private party. But the concert was great, food choices were delicious, service was adequate.

I just cant say enough good things about Jillys Music Room! A beautiful bar/restaurant/concert hall. Always great music, great food and great drinks at very reasonable prices. Its at the top of my list

The band was great, but the kitchen was severely backed up and not enough servers were working on Saturday. It took two hours for my friend to get overcooked wings. It took 45 mins for my bottle of wine to arrive and 1.5 hours for my flat bread to arrive. We had to ask for a discount instead of them offering a free drink or entree like any decent restaurant would. Venue is nice and well maintained. You may want to order delivery from the Italian restaurant next door if you want faster service.

Wonderful live music venue for bands. Great food, full service bar, craft beers. Trivia on Thursday night. Karaoke & open mic for musicians every 3rd Thursday of the month. Awesome service and staff!!

Great music tonight but really disappointed with our food selection. Ordered three sliders which where the smallest mini versions I have ever seen. While not expecting anything large for sliders, they seemed more like mini appetizer bites. Plus it was a extra cost for the drop of cheese they put on it. Yes..that little blob of yellow, maybe 1/4 of a slice of cheese was a 20 percent surcharge. At $16 was expecting a little bit more. Note: picture only shows the two remaining sliders, we ate the first one before thinking of taking a pic. That was the chicken nugget slider, which comparatively was generous! To be balanced, we did seem someone who ordered the Tacos and they looked much better. Did I mention the music was great!!!

Always a really good time. Good food and drink, live bands and dancing! What more can you want?

Jillys is the best live music venue in the Akron area! The drinks and food are fantastic, its always a fun atmosphere, and the severs/bartenders are some of the best in the area! Id recommend Jillys to anyone looking for a fun night out!

Fun place, very lively when I was there with several parties going on and live music! Wasnt exactly what I was looking for for my evening, but if you want a more exciting atmosphere, it seemed to be a good Friday night spot. I would definitely recommend checking it out, and explore the wide selection at the bar.

Food and atmosphere are great. And its really nice place to work.

Drove over an hour to get there to see a band we like and to have dinner. No seats were available at all in the area the stage is in. First guy behind the bar i asked about it didnt seem to care to talk to us at all. We did stay and got a great waitress who eventually got us seated where we could see the band. Food was tasty, but there dont seem to be any actual meals on the menu, all tapas and really small portions even for tapas. Overpriced drinks. If youre hungry for a meal, dont bother. If i hadnt driven so far to see a band we like, wed have left after the first guy was bothered by our questions.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good food, drinks and live music. You really cant go wrong. Full disclosure, I work here on the weekends. The owner treats her people really well and pays like they deserve to have a living wage. So youll be patronizing a place that you should feel good about giving your money to.

The band was amazing, the food was pretty good but over priced....and it took for. ev.er. to get. Over an hour and a half. The server blamed a large party in the back...(the back was completely empty) and we could see the kitchen from where we were sitting....something was definitely on fire. Idk what was going on but Im willing to be a lot more patient if Im not being lied to. No apology, no offer to discount or comp anything literally nothing for the wait. I wont be in a hurry to return which is a shame because its a cool venue for live music.

Super fun place took my 14 year old after a wedding. Not really a family place at night but teens allowed with adult. Adults were respectful of her.

Can’t speak for the music venue aspect of this place. However after shopping at the Northside cellar they recommended I try out Jillys for brunch.Terrible. Just purely terrible.

Fun place to see live music downtown. Although even with the remodeling it’s still weird navigating inside. It’s nice inside well lit, and you can watch the band from the bar upfront.

This IS the place to be and my favorite place to go - really nice menu and great service. Its so nice to sit at the huge granite bar and eat delicious food while listening to live music. The state of the art sound system makes it possible to speak to the person next to you in a normal voice while the bands perform. We are SO lucky to have a locally owned place to go thats so nice. Its so clean and the atmosphere is so cool I dont want to go home. The old reviews were done before the whole place was completely renewed and renovated. Thank you JMR!

I love Jillies Music Room! I have been going there for a couple of years and I am treated like family. I love the music, dancing and the people. Im there almost every Friday and Saturday night. Great place, also their menu is gluten free and no GMO.

Knowing what used to be there, which was a dump a little lower quality than a bad frat house, I love this place. Jill gutted it and has turned it into a top notch night spot. The tapas menu is very good, and new items are rotated in and out all the time. Highly recommend this place when you are in the area. Open Wed thru Sat, and its not always a music venue. Jill ,mixes it up with an art night, sometimes a movie night, sometimes electronic trivia.... great spot.

Great music every time I frequent. The food last week was amazing, try the lemon (yes lemon) flatbread and the brie flatbread. Good wine selection. I like that you can get up close to the music or sit further back if you want to have a conversation.
