Im a member at Fairlawn CC. Both clubs are in the consortium. Golf is always fabulous at Portage CC! The course was in great shape despite the early morning rain. The pro shop staff are attentive and friendly. The gentlemen servers on the lower level bar/restaurant are exceptional...and are excellent conversationalists. Also, the food quality is superb as usual for Portage CC!

Beth and I (from Seth and Beth Wedding Photography) absolutely love photographing at Portage Country Club! What is there not to love?! The staff is so kind and thoughtful, the food is absolutely delicious, the venue is so picturesque...I could go on and on. Definitely put this venue on your list!

We had an absolutely perfect wedding reception at Portage Country Club. The clubhouse itself is gorgeous and full of character and history, and the ambiance and grounds made this a perfect venue for our wedding. Lauren Milroy, the event manager, and the entire staff were organized, helpful, professional, and easy to work with. The reception flowed smoothly from beginning to end and I never once felt stressed about anything-the staff took care of absolutely everything! The food was delicious and we received many compliments from guests sharing that it was some of the best wedding food theyd ever had. I cannot recommend Portage Country Club highly enough!

Nice place from what I saw only the reception hall and dance floor. Didnt see much else but it is nice for a wedding reception.

I love the course and the facility is first class. The club is one of a kind!

I actually have never been a member because I would never try and be elitist like that. REGARDLESS I have very very fond memories of PCC. Me and my friends used to drop acid late at night and walk the course barefoot. In fact one acid trip I lost my phone on the course, and they called my gf at the time to let me know they had found it. So I can tell you the club has astonishing service and the course is very good quality and great for late night shoeless strolls.

We were here for a wedding reception. The bathrooms are beautiful and above and beyond stocked. Nice looking building. Definitely would recommend.

Atmosphere is a bit dated, but the beverage selection is superb and the food is exquisite! The chef serves the most perfect seasonal selections.

Nice job of catering a corporate event. Didnt like that they brought out a whole new tray of hot apps at the end of the scheduled time, thereby charging the hostess for them, but not allowing her to take the uneaten items home. Service Staff was very attentive.

Not only do I live close to the country club but Jim and I have attended many Banquets there and the grounds are just beautiful thats one of the reasons we moved to this neighborhood we can have beautiful neighborhoods in the middle of the city with trees and nature surrounding us & the architecture of Stan Hywet Hall was a big reason we moved to this neighborhood as well... We simply love our home and our neighborhood we moved here in 1998

Quiet clean building. Friendly accommodating andknowledeable staff. Great for the whole family year round. Elegantly preserved with modern updates.

Local institution. Clubhouse renovated after a fire in the 2000s but still classic with period touches from the 1920s. Golf course is also nice and traditional, albeit shorter than modern courses.
