Now open during the pandemic. Hiked on Saturday and there was parking at all the lots from 830 when we arrived to 1130 when we left. Tons of wildflowers still blooming. Oak trees are doing great with shade along the trail. We went as far as the sulphur springs without problems. Have a mask with you, but we were never within 100 feet of another hiker. Passed by a lot of families on bicycles who were having a great time.

Near 101 fwy. Off at Cheeseboro. Moderate fire roads. Nice view at top. Dry now. Free parking at lot. Good for Horses and dogs too.

The main canyon trail is a lovely meander through rolling yellow hills and verdant, shady oak nooks. There seem to be a lot of good mountain biking trailhead options too! Will be back.

What a fantastic experience mountain biking through a few of the trails in Cheeseboro Canyon with my uncle. Although the Woolsey fire had caused much destruction to the bridge and surrounding areas, the trails were reopened. The views were stunning and it was quiet despite the Ventura Fwy not too far away. I particularly enjoyed seeing the dog walkers and horseback riders as we whizzed by.

Relatively easy trails rewarded with beautiful panaramic views. Tall, grasses that can get tight at points. Be sure to carry repellant or check for ticks after.

Great for hiking, biking, running and horse back riding. Can have a lot of traffic during certain days, so use caution when passing and keep dogs on the leash. Several trails ranging from easy to difficult, bring plenty of water, can get hot! Snakes, coyotes, bobcats and ticks in the area..

Went on an amazing mountain bike ride. The ride was more technical now than years past due to fire and rain. Still a fun time in a beautiful place. Just try not to go on the weekends, too crowded. But if that is your only option, I say brave the crowds. Great for hiking too. Have fun

A great place to enjoy the outdoors. Most of the trails in this park are shared between hikers mountain bikers and horse back riders. It has a dirt lot near 2 restrooms that are kept clean and well maintained. The park has reopened since the fires but the main acces road is closed due to extensive damage to the bridge. The park is accessible through side trails.

Nice area with loops of trails to take. All burned down after the fire but lots of fresh green grass after a rain. I went the day after a rain and the trails are super duper muddy and that mud is like glue. So might want to let things dry out a bit first

Dog friendly, Cheesboro park is charming and good for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding. Gentle rolling grassy hills dotted with oaks are set against Santa Monica Mountains. On week days it is quiet with few visitors. Weekends are busy with lots of activities going on. A few picnic tables and compost bathrooms are the only conveniences.
