Took my girl here yesterday to see the music of Andrew Llyod Weber performance for Mothers day 2019. It was our first visit, and very enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful, the performers were fantastic. The world needs more live performance. so much energy, so much emotion, gets lost on film it seems. The Croswell Opera House celebrated its 153rd year this season. The building is clean and the interior design is classic. I really enjoyed the live orchestra.

This historic theatre has been been saved a renovated a few times in its history. Named after a Michigan governor, its rich history to hosting some of the most famous plays and actors/actresses makes it a must visit place. It holds a wide variety of shows and even has been updated to show motion pictures.

Such a great, historic community theatre. The staff and atmosphere were both warm and inviting. We saw Once the musical and it was stellar, from effects and production to acting and singing. The ajoining cafe wad a swell bonus to a wonderful matinee as well. Prices were very reasonable, especially for students. Thanks so much.

Always an awesome time. The actors & staff are AMAZING! I look forward to the shows every month. Violet was incredible! A great addition to their lineup if you havent seen it yet. The shows are always exciting & inspiring; I have been awed & so impressed by the music & talent. If you havent enjoyed the Croswell yet; make a reservation. You wont be disappointed.

We took all of our grandchildren to see Elf, The Musical. My husband is under Hospice care and they arranged everything for us to go. They purchased the tickets and had an ambulette for my husband and I. The kids all loved it and we were in the second row.My husband and I always took the kids for your Christmas play but Ken and I have attended many, many plays at Croswell. We love the theater.

First Friday band outside in courtyard. Awesome

Twaz a great time. Just saw elf and the performance was worth every second of it. They really put a lot of work into making the play happen and making it fun. Its a great time. Highly recommend

One of the best places in this region to see a live performance. Easy to see and hear, comfortable seats and an ice cream parlor!

He Croswell Opera House is beautifully restored. It is an easy drive from Toledo to enjoy events. We recently saw Rock of Ages and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The acting, singing, and set were outstanding!

I have seen a couple productions in the last year. A childrens play, The Perfect Dog and Sister Act. The Croswell seems to always impress, no matter the material. The Opera House itself is beautiful! I am eager to see more productions here!

The Croswell is a place I have gone to see shows at for as long as I can remember. I was just on the backstage crew of Matilda and I loved every second of it! Everyone is so nice and the shows they put on here are phenomenal. I cant wait to be involved in another show!

It was our first time at the Croswell and it did not disappoint! Rock of Ages was an AMAZING production! The Croswell is beautifully crafted and restored! Wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

The Croswell has been one of the absolute BEST thing that has happened in our family!! We have met the most AMAZING, KIND, and FRIENDLY people that we have ever met! Their ability to select and cast the best of the best talent, choose amazing and meaningful shows for all ages, and all the extras: Zumba, Beer & Yoga, musician nights, etc. This has truly become our favorite place to hang out!!!!

The Croswell is just amazing. They have somehow been able to update this historic building and yet keep its charm and nostalgic demeanor!From the staff, to the seating, to the stage, (and even backstage) you see the beauty and you feel the love and excitment of the current and past performances.Our daughter is 6 and did Performance camp this summer. Though she was the youngest and didnt master the songs she loved being a part of it and being on stage!I have been to a few plays so far and have volunteered to help behind the sceens.I hope to always be a part of this theater.

A rare and beautiful gem in Michigan. This was a historic opera house in the thirties restored to perfection. Multiple events are hosted here from local plays to all types of musicals. Im blessed to not only be a part of an audience and also a volunteer

Oldest continually own theater. There doesnt seem to be a bad seat in the house. The renovations were much need. The addition of restrooms was much needed and beautiful.

Have seen a few plays here and have enjoyed the venue and staff each time. Highly recommend experiencing the theater here.

At one time, the building was in disrepair. Charles Hickman and other caring citizens decided to save this historic building. They started the renovations that are being kept up to this day. The Croswell is said to be the oldest operating Opera House in the state of Michigan. If youve never seen a stage production, give it a try. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Just the right size for a play. Ive sat in every section on the floor; always had a good view. The musicals alway have great singers. Beautiful theatre, completely remodeled to its original glory.

This place amazes me with what they can do in such a small space the cast was top notch and enthusiastic and the shows Ive seen here are very good .if your in the mood for some excellent musical theater this is a great place to some .

The music of Andrew Lloyd Webber was wonderful. Everyone did such a great job. I really like having the band behind the singers. The band was also very good.

I thought this was one of the best experiences Ive ever had. The musical was fonaminal and everyone was so nice.

Beautiful building! We were in a smaller studio in the upper level, and as there was a technical rehearsal going on, we could not get into the actual theater area. Friendly staff, and easy parking close by.

The best has been gilded. Besides the new look and more comfortable accommodations, the Croswell Opera House puts on a first class show. We saw The Music Man there last night. Outstanding cast and outstanding production. In particular, Chris Sancho stole the show. The role of Eulalia McShinn is tailor-made for stealing the show, but Chris made it Grand Theft. Sat next to a couple who were first-timers at this venue. We brought eight regulars with us. Hard to tell who enjoyed it more.

Wow this place is beautiful. Its a hidden gem. I mean its in Adrian. Its a hike from anywhere to get to Adrian, but it really is with the drive.

Amazing performance from Frozen Jr cast!

We were there for a Christmas music event, Carols and Candlelight (not a candle in sight). Excellent food, however the room was poorly illuminated with tables too bright and the food buffet in the dark. Music was OK but the group sing along was depressing. Felt like an old folks home. Im 70 and not ready for that yet!

What a great show. The theater is absolutely beautiful, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Such good vibes from the building and the people. The building is easy to navigate and accommodates everyone. It has great feautures as well, such as a small bar for drinks and snacks, a lift to help accommodate patrons who have trouble with stairs, and a nice seating area outside of the theater.

Whent to see rock of ages l, and it was a very spectacular thing

It was a very enjoyable evening for our family.

This is an hour and 15 minutes from me, so Ive only seen two productions here, but both have been amazing! I just saw Ragtime (having seen it during the first national US tour a decade ago) and they did an amazing job - great vocals and orchestra. Id recommend their productions to anyone.

Its beautiful I love going there seeing the shows one of my friends are in some of them right now he is very good at what he dose to and the Croswell is the place to take your family to see a show it can make you cry and laugh to it so much funny I love being there with my friends ️

The glass menagerie was a wonderful performance. The seats were comfortable and the view was fantastic. All around a wonderful theater especially for the price.

Adrian is a small town, but dont let it fool you. The Croswell puts on sophisticated performances that rival the big cities. Both actors and singers are highly skilled and the recently restored theater is a historic jewel. A dedicated staff and lots of community support are evident!

Unique experience. The place looks amazing inside. I liked that they sell alcohol to take in to the show as long as it is in one of their lidded souvenir cups (which are pretty nice too). We enjoyed the show that we watched also.

This is such a great place! We love planning a special date night with dinner at one of the great Adrian restaurants after the show! The Croswell is a hidden gem and well worth the drive for a great night out!

Every show I have seen there has been spectacular, and Ragtime topped them all!

Fabulous show, beautifully updated building but with all the style of the Croswell I grew up with.

Love the Croswell. The show Wizards of Winter was a little too intense and too long for me. Could not understand the words. The balcony was very warm.

One of the most beautiful theaters I’ve had the pleasure of attending. I’ve only seen one performance here and the quality was nothing but perfection.
