Food here is great! Went on a day when there wasnt any entertainment because I wanted to try the food and judge the place without being influenced by the fun of it also being a club. My party of three, the other two were Lebanese virgins, all greatly enjoyed the food and are looking forward to going back on a club night for the entertainment.We noticed as we were checking the place out there is an aerial acrobatics set-up over the dance floor, so at least one of their belly dancers has some serious acrobatic talent.Will definitely return.

They charged 20 dollars per person at the door to get in. The vibe wasnt that great inside, and the DJ was less than entertaining.I gave 1 star however because the service was atrocious and completely lacking in any sense of hospitality. I also just realized today (and its why I went to leave this review) that they forged a number on the gratuity because I clearly remember tipping 1 dollar for 2 weak crown and cokes and awful service, yet my card was charged as if I tipped 8$. DO NOT COME HERE

Lebanese food and the setting at this place is excellent. got there near seven, it wasnt very crowded. it has an awesome feel to it. i can see why they have so many good reviews.

Hated the drinks, hated the music. The drinks were either watered down or was overpowered by cheap liquor. The Dj needs a better selection. He played 10 songs on repeat and changed beats every 30 seconds. My dude, please at least let the drop finish. We were there for about one and half hour. Please dont waste your time

Horrible unpleasant experience. We went here on Saturday night with my friend. All we’ve ordered only one dish rest were drinks. Server didn’t pay attention to our table much. I had to ask another server to find ours to get refills on water (took half hour to do so) and order more drinks. Once we got our check we were shocked they’ve put 20% gratuity in it automatically. When I went all over the place to look for our server his explanation was simple we add it every Friday and Saturday automatically to every check. It never said so. It’s said of table of 4 or more it’s automatic. Was only 2 of us. I’ve tried to skip complaining in public comments. But that’s what you get for not responding to your emails since Sunday morning. Thank you so much for horrible experience. Never again and do not recommend to others.

Celebrating a birthday with a group of 14. We got there at ~ 8pm and were promptly seated, which I thought was awesome given the size of our group. The show was fun, included belly dancing with swords on fire! Later that evening the place gets lit...full on dance club. Oh, and the hummus and falafel were delightful!

The food was absolutely delicious, best Mediterranean food around! Latin music on Sunday night with a belly dancer show, definitely lots of fun and will return.

Its an awesome place to be on Fridays. I went here from the first time back in 2015 and again today my friends invited me to hang out with them for the Bollywood dance night. It was truly awesome. I loved every bit of it. The staff was cool and friendly. People were nice. Music was great. Id like to go back to Al-Amir every Friday.Visited today to eat food for the first time and it was absolutely freaking amazing. Loved everything that I ordered. One of the best Lebanese restaurants in town. And the best Lebanese food I have tasted.

Nice ambience and great food. We visited Al Amir on a Saturday, and ordered the Chicken Pies and the Chicken Kebabs. The food was awesome and the dipping sauces were simply great. There was a belly dance performance around 9:15 which was good. I would love to visit here again and enjoy the food and ambience.

We were a large group of 12 friends who always support Sunday Latin Night at Alamir Addison. Great big thumbs up for the staff and law enforcers who were there to enforce good behavior and the use of face masks at all time. So grateful to know our health was at first hand. Thank you Alamir staff for everything you did to protect everyone!!! But tonight July 26, 2020 was an awful ending. The guest DJ or Substitute DJ was awful!! He had no concept of mixing. He started a slow song and a quarter of the way in to the song he slammed in a fast paced song. The first entire hour of two hours was solid Reggeton with an empty dance floor. That should have been a clue ! Then came in the music from. 2014 and current. Another clue this DJ was entirely a bad choice for sponsoring. Terrible music choices causing a majority of the people to stand around. The first DJ should have played the entire night. He seemed to recognize the audience so he played a variety of music to fit all nationalities this evening. We hope to never see this guest DJ at any Latin night event or we will pick up and leave to support another Latin night club. We absolutely LOVE Alamirs Latin Nights in Addison but not with horrible DJs like tonight. So we hope this doesnt ever repeat itself.

I dont like the place its soo bad

Pretty neat atmosphere and great for parties. Food can take a while if the place is busy however its worth the wait, in the meantime you could dance, drink, snack, play games, chill, etc. Only issue is that if the music bothers you after a while the only way to avoid it is to go to the outside lounge. Else that, its a nice place to be!

Really good, laid back middle eastern atmosphere. Took my parents here for dinner on their last trip to Texas and my dad, who never complements food in restaurants, said the food was amazing so thats HUGE! I love coming here. Bilal, one of the servers, such a sweet guy! He took my son with him to the kitchen, introduced him to the kitchen staff and allowed my son to bring back his chicken nuggets and fries. He then asked the kitchen to bring out the apple you see in the pictures. Really good food, really good staff, definitely will keep coming back.

Place is good for Friday nights. One who wants classy fine dine please stay out this is for youth who wants to dance and have some drinks . Bollywood night is amazing . Lot of Indian people on Friday’s and Saturday’s I would recommend this place as a night club.

One of the nights is an international night where they play Indian music and that’s when I went there. I guess it was a Friday. Good crowd, good food and great atmosphere.

We asked if we could sit at the bar then the hostess said yes and when we go at the bar no chair. We asked for chair the bartender said there are no chair at the bar and we already ordered what we wanted and asked if we can get a table then we got a table. At the table we were told you can’t get your bar order at the table. Then the bartender was okay I’ll give you chair at the bar which was at the very end. However the bartender was very friendly and helpful. What had stared with musical chair ended up in a fun night after people started dancing.

Want to dance for international music? This place IS the one. DJ was great, played the music of your choice. Watch belly dance, grab a drink and have fun. Good staff and service. Food is not impressive / tasty, hence 4 stars.

Great atmosphere, variety in music the DJ played latin music, indian music, and arabic music. you can enjoy a hookah inside and cigarettes. and the drinks are reasonably priced. I recommend for a night out especially with a group of people.

First they made us mixed drinks that had absolutely no alcohol in them. We complain, and they made new drinks for us. Within 5 minutes of drinking then you drinks, me and my friend got sick. This never happens to us. We complain to the manager, who rolled his eyes and told us to go to the hospital and bring him a bill. very rude. Very sarcastic. They think theyre better than everybody because its the only Arab are in the area. Never coming back. Do not recommend coming here ever for a night out

Entertaining at night was great. The DJ and dancers made it very lively, but service is very slow for a group of 14. We were there three hours and spent too much time looking for the waitress for drink orders, then food orders, then the bills.

I love the food. They also have a DJ and belly dancing. Later in the evening you can dance and party. It was loads of fun.

Our experience was outstanding! Excellent service, our server Eddie was outstanding, very professional, and friendly despite the fact we were a large party. Atmosphere is very authentic and music was super fun and truly international. Nora and Moh are also very friendly and professionals. Saturday night is truly a lot of fun.

Music is good but customer service sucks! My daughter had a dinner reservation for a large group(25) made well ahead of time for her Birthday. The table was set for far lesser number(16) and she was told It’s a busy night and they just have to manage. So not exactly great for large group celebrations.

This place is really awesome. They play all kinds of music and have belly dancers too sometimes. Food are tasty. They have wide variety of drinks and varieties of Hookah too. Pretty lively environment. Depending on days, they have entry fee sometimes. Sometimes its free to enter. Also, they have a dress code so anyone in their casual outfit with joggers, jordan is a no-go !

I’ve travelled Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Bahrain, Gulf States, Egypt & Morocco. I love West Asian and North African cuisine in its many national variations. John, owner of Al-Amir, inspired me to travel Lebanon and try Lebanese food myself. When I’m in Dallas area, I eat at Al-Amir Addison once or twice each week. I ate there last night. Try it! You won’t be disappointed.

Great service fun clean place

Great Great Great all around, came to Al-Amir for a surprise party and got everything I didnt expect. Lol, the server was fast and efficient, the music was great, and to see all the different cultures together made this place even more exciting. I would def recommend the Feast for 4, I loved the sauce and the sour cream that came with it. The Lamb was my absolute favorite. Please go and give this place a go.

We went on Friday night because it was bollywood night. Our server was Ali and he made sure we were more than pleased and happy with our food and drinks after his recommendations. Ali was great, he was very attentive and never got out of our sight every time we wanted to order something. The music and the crowd is the best. We’ll be back for Friday nights again! Def recommend!!!

Kind of pricey for what you get. Nice atmosphere, music and dance floor. Serving was typical. Nothing above average. Lamb chops were really good but tiny. And Im not a big portion kind of guy. The rice was not hot and could have been sitting for a bit, not very tasty, just plain.

I didnt actually go here Im a Lyft driver and picked up 2 young indian men who seemed to enjoy it and it is a very busy place. Seemed mostly indian (not native american) clientele so if youre from that culture seems like a great place to meet others.

It is a hookah lounge. Hookah flavour variety is not the greatest Ive ever seen, they only carry polar flavours (you either have had it and loved it or swore off it).Unlike most other hookah lounges, this one also allows people to smoke cigarettes inside the place. Hence there is cigarette smoke inside the place too. And at night watch out or you might run into smouldering embers of one. And the best thing? Despite allowing people to smoke inside, not all tables have ash trays and hence, there is a damn mess on the floor of ash and buds.Tables have coal burns, one of which caused me to spill a $15 drink (which was not replaced, in case you are wondering).Slightly above average on rates for liquors but then they want to be a club cum lounge cum eatery. The entry fee is $5 .. And they sequester nearly the whole parking lot next to the place in the name of valet only parking which is major BS unless they own the lot (any city officials here? Anyone?).Servers are decent and service is fairly fast considering the decent amount of chaos involved. Food is decent for the price though 7/10 on the portion sizes.

I had a party coming in and wanted a bigger table for food and my guests,but Kamal ruined it for us by not giving us a bigger table. He was extremelyrude and inconsiderate about that there were kids around. That place lost our business forever. Its a terribleplace to take your family and friends. Good for bollywood music lovers. They have Arabic dance nights on Friday. I would just say that drinks are really heavily priced. Its Good for group parties. Apart from everything its been fun every single time being there so they are doing something right.

Started with the parking lot. Almost half its parking lot was reserved for valet parking, being forced to park on neighboring area rather than at their parking or pay to valet park. Then the wait staff was sufficiently attentive, their food was good, tasty and fast. Their house drink affordable and average. The music was mostly international middle eastern with some hispanic music thrown in from time to time. A fun place if middle eastern music is what you like.

Went early with the kids. Food and service was excellent, and since it was early the kids had the dance floor to themselves! Staff was super understanding of rambunctious children!
