Used to really love this place! Comfortable chairs and decent prices. Unfortunately things have changed though. It is not as clean as it used to be and the prices have gone up. I don’t think the virus helped this place at all. Such a bummer!

Love the cheap movies and cozy experience! Really great movie experience and they did a good job with social distancing between seats. Food and beverages were ordered prior to movie to minimize contact. Clean and cozy theater that is quiet and not busy at all. They have very limited seats due to covid and even have spacing in the bathroom stalls. Seems like they take this pandemic very seriously and are doing an amazing job and making your movie going experience safe. And cant beat reclining seats!

Always a great experience. Their recliners are so comfortable that I always fall asleep while watching the movies. I slept in Avengers, Black Panther, Thor, Ant-Man and the Wasp, to name a few. Cant wait enough to come back here and have the same experience that I have been having for a few years here at Marcus theater. Thank you Mr Marcus for making it so enjoyable. Would for sure recommend this comfort to anybody. 10/10

It was great, unfortunately only about 12 people at my showing. I found it ridiculous that to get a popcorn refill it had to be scooped into a bag and handed to me instead of just refilling the bucket. Taking covid precautions too far because the employee was already wearing gloves

First time here...young man we got our tickets from was nice and friendly. The young lady however though at the food counter was not as pleasant. She was too busy talking to her coworker she forgot I already gave her my card and paid for my stuff. The theater is small but the reclining seats were nice. Bathroom small as well but clean so thank you. If Im ever back in this area, Ill most definitely come back to this theater. Thank you!

Marcus has it all. Comfortable seats. Fresh hot popcorn. Cocktails beer and wine if you are in the mood. They even offer hot pizza that is really good. The staff is very friendly. You can catch a sporting event on their big screen in the bar. The Addison location is surrounded by many diverse restaurants. Only issue keeping this from 5 stars is the parking lot. It needs resurfacing.

You should be able to buy popcorn at the concession stand not through your phone

I prefer Marcus because the price marked is what you pay. Tax is included in the listed price, $5 Tuesday is actually $5. Theyve recently redone the seat numbers so they are easy to read. My only complaint is that concessions service are always slow. It doesnt matter what day or how crowded. There is always a lengthy wait.

Great theater. They have semi recently replaced the seating. They have the nice recliner seats. They know how to regulate the temperature correctly. Its always a comfortable temperature. Love the giant screen with the Atmos sound. We wont usually see a movie unless its on this screen.

Clean, well kept cinema with.friendly staff. Bathrooms are clean. Theaters are clean and in good working order. A very pleasant atmosphere all around. I drive the extra miles to go here rather than the AMC theater in my town.

I recently came here to see Joker. There is plenty of parking. The ticket kiosks worked without any trouble. it took under 2 minutes to pick my seats and complete my transaction. The pop corn and Icee was very fresh and the guys at the concessions made the orders quickly. The seats are great and recline. The temperature in the room was perfect. Audio was clear and crisp and visual was perfect. Bathrooms were clean and maintained.

Ive been coming here for about 20 years, and it doesnt disappoint. It has all the modern upgrades that the movie going public enjoy, and the popcorn is tasty. Besides popcorn, they have other food options that are good as well. Its in a convenient location that is by some shopping destinations and restaurants as well. The ticket buying process is easy as well, and I will be coming back

Great as always, super comfy seats LOTS of room. My 17month baby was enjoying the extra space to run around! My favorite theater by far.

Great cinema! Little pricey but totally worth it. We bought the tickets through the app so it was very convenient. We watched Frozen 2 in 3D and it was great except the temperature in the room. It was freezing so take a blanket

The theater seats recline are so comfortable. Also, you can’t beat the great prices! The theater is usually kept pretty clean and the employees are very helpful.

This place has slid down hill since it 1st opened. Posters out front need lights replaced. Boards with theater #s & movies listed do not work. Many seats are ripped, have cup holders missing, broken buttons. Concession stand is a pig sty with food and popcorn all over the floor. Movie starts after the time it should. Not impressed. I worked here when the theater 1st opened. It was exciting and impressive and new. Now, its sad and depressing and needs a lot of love to fix the small things that would make it impressive once again.

Some chairs or armrest/cup holders could use some maintenance, but otherwise this is my go to movie theater. $5 Tuesdays and free small popcorn. $6 student Thursdays. And I love that they show anime movies and older classic movies every once in a while.

They showed Groundhog Day on Groundhog Day! Also went here for a play/movie. Very comfortable seating. They have booze, but wish they had more variety of food.

The deals here are decent but I’m not sure I’ve ever been to a dirtier theatre. Lid dispenser for the the cups were disgusting. Theatre still had food from the previous movie on the chairs. The chair that I sat In was broken. The fishbowl looking thing that they have their popcorn in looked dirty as well I almost just told them to forget about it.

The first time I ever came here I saw a double feature: Hercules and George of the Jungle starring Brendan Frasier. Holy cow! That man let himself go!

Theater was really dirty. Seats are ripped and need immediate repair. Every time I go, there are mice roaming around in the back of my seat. I cant even concentrate watching the movie because of all the squealing. One time I smelled something rotting and I looked behind me and it was a dead mouse that was already decaying. Please clean your theater rooms better or lower your prices. Unacceptable where you go to try and relax.

One of the few theaters that actually shows Dragonball movies. Thats worth 5 stars in my book.

I love 5 dollar Tuesdays! You can order tickets in advance for the 5 dollar Tuesday with no service fees if you get the reward card. The reward card is great adds up cash fast to use on tickets or concession. Great variety of food and drinks. You can get a large pizza for 20 dollars. Ive never had a broken or ripped seat.

Always clean & bright (til the lights dim for movie time).Concessions priced like any other 1st tier chain but staff fast & friendly.

Service was not the best. It was 2:30 in the afternoon, that I can get over but they have a mice problem. 2-3 mice in the theater we were in.. thats a major problem. If mice are running around in one, most likely in all. I waited till after the movie to bring it to the attention of the manager on duty. Apologized for the inconvenience and was given 4 passes for a future visit. Idk if I will be in such a rush to come back.

The place is good, however the management needs to do their job instead of baby their employees. There is a lot of dust in the theaters. After I came out of a theater, it looked like everyone was gone. I saw a employe that had a manager name tag. He was latino, very fat average height. I told him about the dust issue and showed him a picture of the dust. He looked at it and ignored me. Said its not his job to dust. Very upset that a manager would refuse to dust something that would take 2 minutes to fix. The bar closes really early, get there before 9 if you want a drink. Some of the seats are ripped.

Seats are recliners so thats a plus! Food and candy is a little expensive so I would recommend eating before coming. All in all its a great place to watch the latest movies!

The Dream Loungers are very comfortable and make watching the movies so much better. We saw the Metallica S&M concert they streamed and I was a bit disappointed in the sound. It seemed like it was stereo left-right vs surround and it wasnt as loud as it was when we took the kids to see the Pokemon movie. Maybe that was an editorial from the management? Whos to say?

RAT / MICE infestation!!! I kept hearing squeaking noises throughout the entire movie and experienced a foul smell . Traumatized when I saw something run pass the back seat. My family and I were terrified. I read other reviews and found out other people have been seeing rodents in the theater. Beware!!! We were in theater 6.

I will drive 30 minutes to come here because Marcus Theaters is simply that much better than every other theater chain. Ive never been to one thats less than top quality and this one is no exception.

One of my favorite movie theatres! Fresh popcorn, staff is very pleasant. But, disappointed in the volume in the ultra screen. They need to turn the volume up a notch! Went to see the last star wars film and was very disappointed in the volume setting! Took away from realy enjoying the movie! You have the speakers! Use them! Please do not make me go to amc.

The seating is amazing with reclining chairs and foot rests. Unfortunately, I did not realize it was better to purchase tickets in advance since some seats were already reserved in advance. At least I know for next time.

Horrible coustmer service & outdated policies!! Managers are unapologetic. Dont waste your time going to this dirty theater. The seats and arm rests are all ripped up. Seats are sticky with popcorn in the cracks. If you request to speak with a manager they send a bunch of teenagers to handle the situation. The general manger Jen cant even take the time of day to talk with customers!! Never again will we waste our time and money at this theater! We will be happy to take our money elsewhere.

Overall nice theater. Disappointed with food. Hots were cold and bread hard. Tuesday $2.00 good deal but you pay $6.00 for a drink kind of ridiculous.

It was a nice theater and the seats were very comfortable. The only issue was it that it was kinda hot for my tastes. Of course, we went during the heatwave so maybe that had something to do with it.

I visited this theatre for a 10:05 showing on 2/13. This is a very nice and modern theatre. Seats are extremely comfy and is a good theatre for couples, as the arm rest in between the seats lifts up. The Ultrascreen DLX is an amazing theatre, with a huge screen! The only reason for 4 stars was because the soda area and restrooms could have been cleaned more often.

We were watching Godzilla and a quarter way through the film. Kids snuck into the movies and and were talking the whole time I asked the nicely to be quiet. Than my husband had to tell them to be quiet even thought they did not pay for the movie. This is the second time he had to do this

My favorite movie place in Chicago. 6$ movies for students on Tuesdays and Thursdays! So when a new movie like Avengers: Endgame releases on Thursday, you get to watch it in reserved seating for 6$ which is incredible. Love the place and the people working there are amazing too.

I truly enjoy taking my granddaughter here. We have a blast every time. She loves the big, comfy chairs and being able to recline. The theater is clean, and the popcorn hot and fresh. I look forward to our next special trip to the Marcus Theater.

I love this movie theater and have been going here since I was a kid. Once they upgraded all of the theaters to reclining chairs, it made this movie theater even better.

Great Theatre. They have cotton candy!!! They also have the regular sundry items of popcorn soda and other snacks. I was surprised at how clean the bathrooms were. The movie theaters themselves were clean and comfy. The do it yourself kiosks made the lines move fast!

Movie and theater was great. They are terribly under staffed so be prepared to take 30 minutes to get your tickets and 30 more minutes to get your snacks. They also have an employee who walks around talking to himself about murdering people!

Nice theater. Tuesday the day to go. All movies 5 bucks.

Its a good theatre. It has a Military Appreciation Discount, but you cant actually use it, because of reserved seating you have to get your tiks online to get a seat. But, there is no way to get the discount that way, because they dont have TroopID or any similar app. So, they get to seem Military friendly, but they arent truly. Sort of an indirect stolen valor kind of thing. Its pretty common in corporate America to exploit military families in this way. We still spend hundreds of dollars there every month, because we like movies and popcorn.

One of my favorite Marcus movie theaters. They have a great team of people and their drinks are fantastic! Always very clean inside the theater.

Who in their right mind rates this place 3 stars or higher? The theaters smell like sweat and alcohol. The concession stand choices are bland and quite frankly dont seem fresh. The bathrooms are dingy and gross, the stalls dont even close! The reclining seats are worn out and dirty.My friend recommended this theater to me claiming that it is awesome.... Im not sure I will be taking her advice on movie theaters anymore.Seriously, bulldoze it and try again.UPDATE: A rat ran by my feet while I was watching a movie. Nuff said.
