Covid 19 review: This place is not safe.My sister and I decided on a whim to see a movie. We figured if we went in the middle of the day the crowd would not be huge.Huge crowds were not the problem, but the people who did not wear masks and the theaters employees who were not following policies that they set in place were the biggest issue.The theater says you have to wear a mask to enter, which we did, but another family was able to walk in maskless and did not get stopped.The concession stand was limited, no tea on my day of going, and the prices are still high. You do not get a refill on larges including popcorn. They have green pads to step on for social distancing but it was difficult for children to follow these policies as their family was to busy looking at the concession menu.Everything must be paid with by card they do not accept cash. You must still go to the box office to receive your tickets since they did not have anyone at the podium.There are plenty of hand sanitizer stations, I brought my own just in caseStaff are stoic and not much else to say expect I expected better.The auditorm was cold as usual and the seats are blocked a row apart. You can order tickets online or via the app and it will automatically block seats nearby for you for social distancing.What I hated was a family entered the auditorm with no masks and sat wherever they wanted. My sister and I quickly left the theater for our own safety. I was given a refund for my tickets but not my consession items. The staff did not seem to care at all and offered a half hearted apology.Covid 19 is no joke and the polices this theater claims it follows are false. I will not be returning until after the pandemic is over for my own safety. Please feel free to make up your own mind but for me this theater is a pass.

Nummy popcorn and nice peeple!!

Very friendly service! Everyone working looked you in the eyes and made you feel welcome. The theater was very clean and bathrooms were well maintained. Seats were comfortable and roomy enough. Very enjoyable experience overall.

Darling little theater. Reasonable prices, comfy seats, clean facility. I have been to more movies in the last 4 months since discovering this place, than I have in the last 4 years.

We visit here frequently. It is a good place to see movies. They have changed some of the old seating to new but they all need to be changed. My only other complaint is they do not have enough help in the lobby. I often buy tickets then wait in concession line until ticket person can come be concession person.

I know they redid this place awhile ago, but I am still impressed with it. The new location is so clean and nice. The staff is very friendly and patient. I heard one woman answering a guests questions. The questions were what time everything played and what it cost. The information was literally right being the girl she was asking, but the girl patiently answered everything. The seats are comfy, too.

I really like that they have started letting you choose your seats when purchasing your tickets. Just watched Frozen 2. It will be another classic that we will own!

Nice place. Not amazing. Not bad. They have movies and popcorn. Pretty much what youd expect from a movie theater. EDIT: Came back here, and now I think that its a pretty great place. Popcorn is good, seats are good, place is clean. Much worse theaters out there. This is a good one!

Absolutely loved the new seats. They are so comfy. Concession prices are pretty high but staff is always friendly.

With the new seat reservations, there are no complaints. Its good Friday night entertainment for area.

Since the renovation it has gotten nicer. Now you have ticketed seating like every other theater and I love it! No more getting there 30 mins early to try and get that good seat. Just order ahead now!

Best movie place around here. I always go to the matinees and it has the best picture for around the tishomingo area.

Went to see Downton Abbey which is a great show to see. Theatre was clean no problems the showing of the show as other places have had. Will definitely go back again

I have enjoyed the movies I have seen here, and agree with other comments already made by others about the theater being clean and comfortable and having everything you could want there to be. My only complaint is that everything is always so very LOUD. I enjoyed movies more when it was not necessary to cover my ears!

Great place to watch a new movie

Was turned away because my wife didnt have her ID. Employee wouldnt accept a picture of her ID or a student ID from her college, either of which would have confirmed that she is above the age of 17. Employee may have just been enforcing policy to a point that was unreasonable but his demeanor in doing so was disrespectful. Id rather wait until movies come out on DVD or digital than deal with the kind of people they staff at this theater.

It was ok. Avengers endgame was decent. Even as one who skipped since civil war it pretty good.

The popcorn is good and my family likes to put a lot of butter on our popcorn. Theres only a few things I can argue about. I dont know what happened to the cheese powder, I love that stuff. After a while the 3D doesnt have the same effect at the beginning of the movie. The snacks are a little pricey. Other than that, this place is great, and the extra merchandise like blankets and plushies are cute too.

This is a newer good quality theater with stadium seating. The hot dogs are pretty good. Im glad I dont have to drive to OKC to enjoy a good movie anymore.

This is the best movie theather. The staff are always very friendly and actually act like they enjoy their job. The popcorn is always fresh and hot. I like the all the choices the concessions offer. I like that the butter and condiments are self serve. The concessions move very quickly. The seats and sound quality are awesome. And every time I have come here people are very good at keeping the cell phones off. A great movie experience.

Very good small town theater. Has nice friendly staff. The theaters and bathrooms are always clean, and the projectors and sound are excellent. The only place within 2 hours driving distance that is better is Warren theater in Moore, but unless you are seeing a big movie with a bunch of friends this Ada Cinemark is the best option.

We drove down from OKC to watch the movie First Man. The theatre was nice, and the seats were comfortable. The sound system was great.

My wife and i been there many times. each time has been a wonderful time. little to expensive for there drinks but i love going to see the movies.

Any business that does not allow you to bring in a water bottle is ridiculous. Im an adult male at 11am. Im not drinking vodka. Its just hot. Im not paying 5$ for a bottle of the same thing I already have in my hand and your alternative to offer me a fountain water, which Im assuming is Ada tap water, is not a valid solution. Im willing to pay absurd prices for food and a soda ... but water? Where are your morals. You have lost my patronage until you retract such an absurd policy. Change the price on bottled water while your at it!!! Its a human necessity not another way to stuff your wallet.

Today there were technical difficulties and the management treated us with such kindness. The end result he gave away passes due to the movie stopping more than once. The managers attitude was fantastic! The whole staff was friendly and the place was clean!

I think its ridiculous when you go to the movies an hour in half early to make sure I can take my 15 yr old little brother I am 18 myself I am his guardian and I help take care of him but anyways I went there an hour in a half early so I can make sure I can take my brother to see a rated r movie and the guy at the desk says I can so I bought my tickets then when I go to see the movie the guy taking the tickets says that I cant take him after I already asked I am his guardian I tell him and he says it has to be a parent our parents arnt around and so I ask him what movies are still in the preview cuz this was late at night so it was the last showing so he tells me the nut job is still in preview so we go see that and its already started and I dont know what going on would have been better to get my 60$ back I spent there I dont hardly go the the theatre and when I do people have got to be stupid wont be going there again

Love this place

I enjoy their first-show-of-the-day matinee prices. Concession prices are expensive. Seats are very comfortable and angled so even kids can see over the row in front of them, the screens are big and the sound is full. Restrooms are good. You can prepurchase tickets at the sidewalk machine,and at the ticket counter and online at fandango.

Its definitely an upgrade to the previous theater Ada had, but still doesnt compare to a lot of other newer theaters. Concession prices are pricy. Not enough staff working. When theres a line of people getting tickets and the first person heads to concession after getting their tickets, they have to wait for that staff member to finish giving tickets to the others and run over to concessions to take care of customers.

Dont go often but love it when I do. Staff always friendly and courteous. Clean and comfortable.

The movies are often loud and no one seems to stop the chatting or cell phone usage of those attending. Crying toddlers ruined the last movie we saw about dogs called The Secret Lives of Pets, but we have returned for more as Hell and High Water, The Magnificent Seven, Hacksaw Ridge, Why Him and Fences. All great. We plan to see Passengers today, as well.The seats are not particularly comfortable and a bit tight. They sit low and are difficult to get up from after a 90 minute movie. The price of just bottled water alone is ridiculous and obviously gouging the consumer. Never make the mistake of eating there with hot dogs, popcorn and drinks as your going to pay the price of half the gold kept at Ft. Knox. The staff are nice, but frequently just huddle together at the snack bar area.Sounds a bit negative, but no. It is pretty much the same at most movie theatres these days. Nothing is bad enough to keep us from getting out there to enjoy a good movie. I just wish they would actually charge decent prices for the food and drinks. I cant imagine the cost to a family with kids or grandkids.

Showing up to watch a movie that you guys have advertise for several days for a certain time and find out that you changed it a few hours before the show time. In my opinion is not good business
