This was the first time visiting and loved it. The grounds are extremely well maintained, the paths are clear. Trees, birds, frogs make it so much fun to walk around. The dedicated are for Monarch butterfly is teaming with insects and humming birds. Theres plenty to do and enjoy for kids and adults. A picnic in the grounds to close the visit and you would call it a day.

Wonderful kid friendly trails. Small well marked and gives a good experience. Easy. Provides many small trails maximum 1 and half mile. Or 45 minutes all done.Got to see a few birds. You can see small apple orchard near to parking. It was apple season and it was full with fruits.Overall would recommend anyone who loves nature and wants to spend some peaceful time between the nature.Parking is small but sufficient. Couldn’t find a restroom. There were a few picnic tables near the entrance / apples tree garden area.

Absolutely beautiful spot. Winding trails, huge variety of flowers, trees and plants, plenty of benches to sit down and just be.Theres a bog, root-strewn trails, manicured lawns, flower beds, and a Witch Hazel tree. The layout of loosely-connected circles is great for getting lost in thought. Perhaps for a picnic, too!Lots of birds to watch, and hummingbirds, too. You can do it all in under an hour.

Love the Arboretum! Always a great local place to go, the trails are just long enough for a nice workout and dogs are allowed. The walks any time of year are beautiful, and the bridges along the main paths are nicely maintained.Foliage is pretty much bloomed at this point (from what I have noticed). I would say go in late May/ early June to see the start of the blooms. During Springtime the streams are running (right now looks like things have dried up or have large algae blooms). Will always make this place my go-to for a quick hike!

The Acton Arboretum has a little bit of everything: well maintained flower and herb beds, enough green grass on which to run and play, toss a frisbee, or eat a picnic lunch. There are wooded paths and paths that are handicap accessible. Picnic tables and benches dot the area where one can sit to commune with nature or chat with friends. It is one of Actons gems.

Perfect place to take a walk in the woods or in the park. Nice easy trails with lots of benches and beautiful flowers. Dogs are welcome as long as you pick up after them. They do have trash barrels at the entrance. The grounds are kept really nicely. However, the water fountain never seems to be working, so remember to bring water for you and your dog. I definitely recommend!

Really lovely and peaceful. However pretty alarmed at the amount of unleashed dogs and seemingly uncaring owners. It is an Arboretum not a dog park. I am 7 months pregnant and 2 dogs came barreling around a corner at me. I love dogs so it was fine but the owner seemer genuinely alarmed that someone was there. Leash your dogs! I also saw 2 bags of poop along the trails... clean up after your animal or stay home!
