Solid option for blockbusters on the southwest side. It’s not the most modern theater and I’ve occasionally had problems with sound or lighting being off. Prices are fair for tickets and drinks, plus it’s almost always very quiet compared to the mall.

They have more fathom events streamed than any other theatres in Abilene. Always go here to watch animated movies. First come first serve when it comes to seats, but some movies are now applicable to purchase reserved seatings. There has been times when the lights have been left on or the audio doesnt come through, but when that happens I simply tell them and they get right on it. So dont let that stop you from coming to watch a movie here at Century 12. Always a lot of fun to have.

This place is good till you experience better, that doesnt make it bad tho. If you just want to see a movie come here, if you want luxury go somewhere else. I prefer this theater more because its usually less packed and closer to home. I dont see how others can say reserved seating makes people irresponsible, it encourages planning ahead and helps those people out with a tighter schedule.

It was a rough start with popcorn everywhere and a mysterious liquid that need to be cleaned (could have been throw up). We saw the Special feature DaMachi (an Anime Movie) We went into theater 5 and the movie didnt start on time. When it did it the intro was already over and there was no sound. The lights were still on my husband had to leave the theater to inform someone. I loved the movie and there we special features at the end which is pretty cool. But my Husban and I were not satisfied with our first time experience of this theater. We spoke to the Manager, she was very understanding and cooperative. We were given guest passes for next time. Thank you Manager Brittany for listening to our concers, we will visit at an other time hopeful for improvement.

We went to see the movie 1917 this was the only theater that was showing this particular movie. This was the theater that we always used to come to until the x d theater came into play and now Im spoiled with reclining seats this theater unfortunately doesnt have that and it was uncomfortable seating its funny what you can get used to. I like that youre able to pick your seats which we did in fact glad this theater did Show the movie though I just cant say that Ill be back because I love the reclining seats but do recommend if you want to stay on the South side of town.

Why dont they just come out and say they are closed for good not re-opening any time. Quit play tippy toes with everyone just say we are no longer opening the theater.

The theater was very clean and made sure customers were 6 feet apart, spread out well cause of Covid 19.

Projector was broken and manager restarted the movie to fix it then gave me and my friend as well as the other guests a free ticket for a movie

Screen kept turning green and cutting out. Was very annoying.

Great movie and service, however the seats are lacking in comfort. Spent whole movie having the back of my seat kicked. The young man apologized, he didnt have room for his legs and when he went to adjust for comfort he would hit the back of my chair. Think Ill go to a different theatre next time.

Yesterday the parking lot was deserted and all signage was out of sight--maybe covered. I thought it had been removed. Thought the place had pulled up stakes and closed for good. But I was wrong . Today the signage was back to normal. Dont know what was going on.

Nice seats- No one there (). Volume was good. Floors not sticky and clean bathrooms. What else could you want?

New seats are so comfortable popcorn is always fresh they also have reserved seating now. The staff is always nice and if you ever run into Vanessa say hi to her she is really a nice person to speak with

I had a great time here. The employees were super nice, making jokes with us then being quick to serve me and my friend. The theater was clean and the movie started right on time. Will definitely go here again

Bought large popcorn and a drink for a late night show with the wife. By 11 we wanted refills and the concessions were already closed and they refused to open back up to give us what we payed for. Dumb high schooler with no service experience stole my money.

What theaters are beautifully appointed. There are two bathrooms but theyre both on one side of the theater. They have not converted to the lay back seats. Great condiments.

Best place for a movie night, i just love the traditional movie theater vive no frills, only thing is i would love to see is a bigger acade room.

Great theater they just need to hurry up and get with the times. Get the new renovated seats and they will be better in business. But then again maybe theyre doing good enough. But seriously, some new seats would make for a better cozy entertaining experience.

Place took a dump when the new theater opened. My suggestion would be, to open up as a $2 theater... good enough for date night without spending all the dough on tickets. Im still going to buy popcorn and coke. This way i can actually enjoy a night out while being thrifty.

2 years ago I gave them a 4 star but was very disappointed last night. They changed the seating now it feels so uncomfortable and crowded..I hate the reserved seating option with a passion we just keep making everyone lazy and irresponsible. Whats wrong with people buying tickets and showing up on time and getting the seats you want. If any upgrading needs done is the concession literally only had 2 people working. Took forever to get drinks. Yes they give option of getting your own drink if your getting a large only. Then it gets so crowded no space in the line.

They always have good movies showing and good prices for earlier shows.

Wow i went to the century 12 idk u had to choose a seating chart to sit some where in theater now. When do u do that. I thought u can sit anywhere u want. These days!!! Plus she said no one was in theater . i still had to pick a seat. Dont make no sense.

Great matinee movie experience. Chose this theater for the price and close location to my home. If they could just have recliners that would be amazing and reserved seating that would definitely get another star.

Staff was good. Hallway seemed musty, and room had poor patching on walls. Room was clean and well set up.Real surprise was the breakfast, fresh fruit of every kind. Did not see any melons. Fresh waffles and eggs that are served to you.Room was a little pricey for what you get, but the breakfast starts you on a good day, and guests can join you for breakfast for $10.

Not as comfortable as the other theater but the 3 of us had the whole place to ourselves at 4:30 PM at a decent price.....End Game in 3D on the first Monday of release. Thoroughly enjoyed by all.

I went to go and see Best of Enemies. There are three movie theaters in Abilene. Normally, I go to the other two but this was the only theater that had my movie. Its a okay movie theater. It needs remodeling. Seats needs to be reclining and bathrooms needs remodeling. For those of you that prefer reclining seats and a remolded place, I recommend you to go to the Abilene Premiere Cinema 10 or Cinemark XD if you can (again this was the only movie theater that had my movie). For those of you that would rather not have crowds and dont care about reclining then its a great movie theater!!

The theater itself is ok. They really need to do some updating to be on par with the other local theatres. Especially since they are justvas high as the others.Amd trim your trees! The trees inside the parking lot and at the entrances hang down so low they scrape your car.

Ive got to say the owners have definitely let this place go and basically have the who cares attitude here . I came here two days in a row now . Yesterday may 11 brought my youngest to see detective pikachu horrible. . The floors waiting in line just to get refreshments was covered in popcorn .Every single person waiting in that line waited forever . there were only three people working the counter. One doing drinks one doing cash register and one for popcorn . the whole experience sucked. But I decided to try again thinking maybe the only reason it was bad was because they has a rush, boy was I wrong .. Yet again. Popcorn all over the place . Not only was The popcorn we ordered stale and we gave it back But the guy who gave it to us had the biggest attitude .if your not happy with your job go somewhere else . The place wasnt packed at all. Hardly any customers there . Man reason go there is price is cheaper but I will definitely not come back . I love the newer theater. Rather drive all the way to north side just to watch a movie than come back here . Even the mall theater has upgraded . Come century 12 get your act together .Very disappointed

Friday night. Last movie of the day. Stale popcorn, and the theater is pretty filthy. Had to move a seat down in order to avoid the popcorn butter spilled on the seat. Take a little pride in your establishment.

The movie was great but super late seeing that I was the only one in the theater for the showing at 1025pm and the popcorn was more than my ticket which I thought was odd. And I was the last one out and by myself in the theater which was a little scary. Just me and some one who didnt seem to speak English doing clean up. Nothing against him but it was scary because he was a stranger. Lots of dangerous people nowadays. You should make sure all your customers are out and okay before everyone just bales. And if its a late showing make sure the movie is on time. I didnt get out until after 1am for a 1030pm movie.

This is your basic typical theatre. Nothing special about it. Decent chairs, decent food, decent customer service. The video quality is good. This theatre is due for a renovation to make it a 5/5. Add reclining seats, IMAX, & reserved seating!

Went to movies. Staff was very nice and helpful. Movie was great.

All fountain drink machines were broken. The theater we were in had not been cleaned after the previous movie. The restroom needed attention. A lady in the restroom said her theater hadn’t been cleaned either. The trash was overflowing. We were really disappointed.

Went to see Infinity War @10:30 last night...stood in line for OVER AN HOUR only to get into theater & NO ONE TOOK TICKETS OR KEPT LINE SKIPPERS OUT OF THE THEATER! 8 people went ahead and were in there relaxing while tons of people lined up outside like we were told!!! When I tried to complain....NO MANAGER WAS AVAILABLE...YOU should just NOT BUY TICKETS & WALK IN TO SEE A FREE MOVIE LIKE SOME PEOPL DID! I guess I shouldve saved my $$$$

So i hate the popcorn machine where you get your own popcorn.. I got butter and popcorn every where and butter all over my bag of popcorn and then the popcorn wasnt even good! Made a mess for no reason..

Its an awesome theater we got the d-box seats they vibrate and move with the action of the movie.... so awesome you have to try it couldnt keep the smile off my face its nice and clean will be going back

Century used to be the gold standard but has fallen behind compared to other theaters in town. The picture and audio quality are still top notch but but seating and look and feel are lacking.

Somehow their electronics were all down. No credit cards. Cash only. But staff took our.money and we saw our movie. Kudos to management for planning and managing thru a problem!

The Century 12 has better popcorn and more comfortable seats than the other theaters in town, they dont charge for courtesy water like they do at the mall now, and they have reasonable matinee prices.

Its really all that you expect from a movie theatre. The prices are outrageous but they all are.

The popcorn was dry and kind of old tasting. Asked for extra butter and the person put a 2 squirts on a large pop corn, told him I would pay extra and he put 1 more squirt on it. Only had little fast food type packets of salt, i had to stand there and open about 10 little packets. I dont normally indulge in alot of salt and oil like that but that is usually the best part of going to a movie. The coke was syrupy. They did close the doors of the theater we were in or the one across the hall so was hearing the movie n there too

The seats were comfortable. It wasnt as cold inside as it normally is so the entire experience was totally enjoyable.

We had an amazing experience here. Very pocket friendly,kids friendly and the snacks bar is actually much tastier than I expected. We are making this place a family ritual.

Convenient and no reserved seating with a bunch more seats than the new fancy theaters which means you dont have to get there an hour early just to avoid the front row.

The theater was a bit too warm, especially for the kind of seats they have that stick to your skin. Other than that, same Cinemark movie experience.
