We came this year with a group of 5.. 2 being youth hunters. Shawn and Ryan are so accommodating and bent backwards to make sure we had a good time and got what we needed. We left killing 7 hogs, two does, a turkey and a beautiful 9 point buck.

Shawn I just want to tell you that me and my friend had the best time Hog Hunting  at Salt Fork!!I loved every minute of it!  Ryan was an  Awsome Host!! We are gonna come back again from Tennessee as soon as we can figure out a good time. Ballinger was a great  town and everyone was friendly towards us. Great place to visit just 10 minutes away. Hogs were active every night and we got one big sow. Such a great experience. I can’t wait to come back. Beautiful scenery every day and night. Even if you don’t harvest one just being on the ranch at the cabin was so peaceful. I highly recommend these two brothers on their hospitality and sharing of their knowledge and experience to anyone wanting to go hog hunting for the first time. Salt Fork Ranch is a great hunting experience with several options of wildlife from which to choose. My son and I had a fantastic experience while hog hunting. The customer service is top notch and always strives to be better. I’d recommend Salt Fork Ranch to any group of hunters. Especially if you have kids. Book a hunt and make some memories. Ive been out to Salt Fork Ranch hunting twice, and have had an amazing experience both times. Shawn and his brother Ryan were a lot of fun, and very accommodating. They went above and beyond what I would have expected from a hunting outfitter, cant recommend them enough and definitely will be back again!

I booked an unguided Hog Hunt with Shawn! He was great at explaining how to get to our blinds and what time was best to hunt. We saw plenty of hogs in the time we were there. We killed a monster boar and Shawn was right there to help us clean it! I had a blast and recommend everyone to hunt with Shawn and Ryan! I cant wait to get back out there!

I was planning a last minute hog hunting trip while passing through Texas and found Salt Fork Ranch. I saw only one review and it was terrible, but I gave it a shot anyway. And I’m so glad I did! I had a blast. Even though temps were over 100 degrees, I saw plenty of game and was able to harvest a nice boar with my bow. The owner/outfitter, Shawn, was super helpful and easy to work with. I’ve already told my friends about this place and we will be coming back.

Shawn and Ryan took great care of us on our hog and turkey hunts. We followed their directions and got in the blinds at the right time, and they were spot on with their timing! We each got a hog and a turkey. So fun. Can’t wait to come back
